You often don't have much time, if any, to take any breaks. You are given so little time to do each yard that most employees cut corners (in safety or customer care) to finish all of their stops in a decent amount of time. The work is pretty stressful and you have to keep a tight schedule. At first, there were 5-day weeks with an optional Saturday if you wanted overtime, but as we were understaffed and behind we had several months where we worked nearly every Saturday (although Saturdays were usually only about 6-8 hours of work).

My typical days were anywhere from 9-12 hours, averaging about 50-60 hours of work a week, 5-6 days a week. I wanted to like this company I tried to like this company, but working here sucked. If they’re riding your paycheck, they feel they on you and all of your time and can do with it what they feel. An hour more or two hours more is nothing to them when they want to extend the day if they need to without any warning whatsoever. Similarly, if the mood strikes they will make you work longer with no regard to any plans that you have mad.

Even if you agreed at a certain start time and have prior engagements that would keep you from being able to get there at the new start time. Do you like getting to work at 10 o’clock good that may be the case for a month until they decide to move it to nine. They say you can make a lot of money here that may be true for 1% of people, and they will say you have an official time that you will start or end work. They said I would not have to work on weekends that was a huge a lie. Whether it be an incentive like a new company, shirt or false promises that never seem to come true. Meanwhile, how much you could be making “very soon,” is dangled in front of you like a pin yada as a they blindfold you with anything at their disposal just to keep you going. You have to do a lot of work for very little pay comparatively to most jobs. However, they seek to milk everything they can get from their employees knowing most of them will quit. This company is good on paper it is lawn care plain, and simple.
